I did something yesterday that I didn't think I would be doing again for a while... I bought an iPhone. There were a few reasons for it though and I thought it best to outline them in a post.

@ericmann @chris after years of _really_ trying to use android without Google I too was forced to switch to an iPhone. With Apple I feel that I can have a working phone which primary objective isn’t spying on me. Things might be different nowadays with /e/OS but I wouldn’t count on it. Would love to hear about /e/OS experiences though. In my experience trying to run Android apps without proper google play services (read: rootkit) installed is a hit and miss.
