I still often think of trying something other than WordPress for my site again but I usually give up pretty quick as WP, for all it's faults, is the only thing in it's class that actually manages all the content I have in my site.

@chris I am thinking of moving my ThinkPrivacy site to WordPress, but to redo all the pages is so much work, but I think in the end could be worth it as it would be easier to add a blog and do more than I can with Jekyll.

@danarel I found it easier to move back to WordPress then I did to move off of it. There are some plugins that really do a good job of importing a site from HTML. That said, yeah, there’s definitely something to be said for a content management system that manages content.
